hell that should keep labour out of power for a few years.
Dear Sirs
My email is prompted by the report regarding Student Loans.
I believe an incredibly important issue has been overlooked by all concerned, namely:-
“how the hell can a youngster leaving University with £30-40k+ of debt already recorded possibly afford to buy a house and get a first foot on the property ladder?”
Is it surprising the young are being left behind in the property stakes!
It seems to me this is a quite crucial point and one which has been completely overlooked.
It’s bad enough already that the starting mortgage for a first time buyer, without debt, will be in the region of £80-£120k+ ………………..!!
Please raise this point with your customary vigour.
Sincerely
Michael Palmer
